SoccerExpo congratulates Kevin Omondi “KevO” on his move to Wazito.
Just a few days ago, Wazito FC officially sealed the services of Sony Sugar custodian Kevin Omondi, who comes with top flight experience for the team’s second stab at the Kenyan Premier League (KPL) next season.
Wazito FC, a fast growing and successful club who won the 2018-19 NSL title to secure promotion to the Premier League, are expected to bring a buzz to the League next season – and Kevin Omondi will be a key part of it.
Custodian Omondi comes direct from Sony Sugar, where he was very instrumental in Sony’s rise last season, helping Sony to a top five finish. Kevin made many vital saves that helped the Sugar Millers collect crucial points against tough opponents.
Kevin started goalkeeping back at Kakamega High School, moving to Huruma Asec under Coach Joseph Jagero, going on to join Dandora Agentos under Coach Kaswaro. After a successive run there, he joined Nairobi City Stars and later Sony Sugar. For us, his fans and his family, Kevin’s growth from a boy to a man has be a joy to watch.
SoccerExpo is proud of Kevin Omondi; it’s the start of something new with more to achieve.
Congratulations KevO!
