The Kenya Premier League Golden Glove Awards is an annual association football award presented at the end of the season to the goalkeeper who has the most clean sheets (that is when a goalkeeper concedes no goals during a single match) in the Premier League.

Our star Kevin Omondi, a marquee goalkeeper who plays for Sony Sugar FC, was the 2nd Runner Up in the 2018 Kenya Premier League Golden Glove Awards.

This year Kevin leads the charts with eight clean sheets. Farouk Shikalo, who plays for Bandari FC and was last year’s winner, follows him closely in second position with seven clean sheets.

It’s a tight race, with 15 matches more to play, but Kevin has been in great form and he is the man to beat for this year’s Golden Glove Award.
