SoccerExpo players give Tusker the winning edge

Rauraka Stadium • March 27, 2019

For the first time ever, all six of SoccerExpo’s footballers in Tusker FC played together in the same match – and the team won. This match was a critical one for Tusker, as it needs to pick up points this season, having lost two and drawn two in their four league meetings. It was doubly critical too, because this time Tusker was to face the Kariobangi Sharks.

Tusker came into the match having failed to win any of their last five matches against the Sharks, losing four times and drawing once. At Ruaraka Stadium, six SoccerExpo players were in the starting eleven: Timothy Otieno (Captain), Boniface Muchiri, Sydney Ochieng, Clyde Senaji, Jackson Macharia and Faraj Ominde.

Timothy Otieno, one of our marquee strikers, scored twice in the first half, with our prolific forward Boniface Muchiri adding a third goal in the second half. The end score was 3-1 to Tusker – a great win over the Sharks and a solid result on the way to Tusker’s comeback this season.

Well done team!
